Express Yourself With Color
Spring is on the way! Give your home a new look with paint. Paint is one of the least expensive ways to decorate.
Whatever your color passion is you can surround yourself somewhere and fill your home with colors you love. Remember, paint that inspires you doesn’t cost anymore than dull ones.
If you have lived with neutrals or are just starting to decorate do it at your own comfortable pace; be realistic though with how long your project will take. Especially if you are a beginner with painting.

Organized Living

Tired of searching for misplaced items each day - keys, kids shoes, notebooks, etc. A few minutes can add up to hours and 5 min. a day is over 30 hours a year. How many “5 min.” are you spending a day looking for stuff?

Clear it out, sort it into - Must Keep, Give Away, Donate. It is important not to over think your decisions and do not feel guilty if you donate gifts or hand me down furniture. Kitchen Remodel on a Budget
Here is a tip for updating an old kitchen on a budget.
Paint is your best bet when updating cabinets. We used winter white for our client but you certainly can use any color. To keep costs down use tile on the counter top instead of high priced stone or solid surface materials.
Using large tiles and thin grout lines will give you a great look and your kitchen will feel like new. Stainless steel is affordable and these appliances will last for years.
In the future as your budget allows you can upgrade to new cabinets, knock down a wall...well, you get the idea.

Yard Sale Success
Time for a yard sale, moving sale? Set yours up and set it apart from the others.
Take an extra few minutes, find some scrap wood, fence planks, or use small nails and hang all art work on the wood or on small nails tapped into the frame around the garage. You get the idea...
The thing is to get stuff off the ground, displayed and looking like an outdoor resale shop.
Set up tables and cover with sheets or table cloths to show off dishes and other items.
Put pillows on furniture, plants on a side table...instant room setting.
Shoppers will buy more because your items look well kept and a better value.
Give it a try. This yard sale made over $500.00!!! Oh yes, indeed a good sale!

Organize Your Stuff and Life
Hi, Gayle Barrett of The Designer Gals coming your way. It is a Fab day here in Lodi, CA. A perfect 75 degrees thanks to a cold front hanging around from Alaska. Love That!
We helped a client purge clothes, craft items, books and more to free up space so this multi purpose room can stay organized.
The before picture...well looks like many rooms in many homes. You think there is no room for anything so everything just gets tossed in the space. WAIT! There is room, often people just need a little help finding it!
The after picture shows just that...we found lots of space after going through boxes that had very little in them, papers that were no longer needed, and started a system to help prevent the clutter from returning!
We can help you get your space organized which will help reduce your stress level. It won't take long and you will enjoy living an organized life, trust me!
